- HIGH QUALITY NEW ARTISTS
GENEROUS RECORDS is a start-up not-for-profit company set up exclusively to generate donations to charity through the sale of original recorded music. The not-for-profit was the aspiration of Jon Peel (Founder) who has worked in the music business as a musician, festival promoter, company director, charity trustee and musical entrepreneur for over thirty years.
The main objectives of the company are:
1. to raise money for charities through the sale of our albums and donor contributions
2. to give a launch platform to up and coming artistes to showcase their work and
3. to continue to produce successful album projects and develop as large an audience for our music as we possibly can.
Company Number 11312316
Registered in England and Wales
GENEROUS RECORDS is always looking for exceptional talent for its projects, whether that be singers /songwriters /musicians and/or dancers. We believe there is a market out there to promote your talent and one of our aims is to do just that.
For each project we will reach out to seek new talent via social media, email and traditional word of mouth recommendations. We will normally audition in order to ensure the right voice for the right song and that the recording artist is always comfortable with the song material.
With the power of social media we can promote the "generous" ethos we live and value at every opportunity via our social media sites, our artist's own sites and other promotional media and if you are reading this please share with your friends and family on FB and Insta'
GENEROUS RECORD'S mission is to "Let the music give"....giving something back to society and through our projects we believe that we can and will do just that.
We believe that our competitive edge is that we are NOT competitive.
The aims of GENEROUS RECORDS are as follows:
1. To provide the highest quality of musical recordings, providing an eclectic mix of original songs appealing to the largest and most diverse audience.
2. To provide donations to charitable organisations via a large percentage of any profits generated from the sale of our original recordings
3. To provide opportunities for new talent by engaging them to participate in our projects, enabling them to showcase and advertise their talent on our website and social media sites.
To these ends, we do not see ourselves as a “competitive” business. We are not competing with any other business in the true sense of business competition. Whatever we do is solely for the benefit of reputable charitable causes. We are however a “professional business” run by professionals and using professional services to deliver our projects.
JON PEEL; founder of Generous Records Ltd and songwriter/producer for "Let the Music Give". "It's important to be able to do something for others and the concept of Generous Records is what all this is about."

I’m Ciara Ennis, a First-Class Hons Musical Theatre Graduate, having studied at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance in Greenwich, London. I am from Aberdeen in Scotland and am very proud of coming from a country so rich in both culture and music. I have been singing as long as I have talking, and have enjoyed performing at local, regional and national events. I am a keen fundraiser for various charities and was recognised for that by being one of the youngest Olympic Torchbearers in 2012. I enjoy singing most genres of music - however jazz is one of my main influences. Both the fundraising and jazz elements of this project is why I was so pleased to sing on the album, and working with Jon has been a real pleasure.
Danielle is currently a 2nd year BA (Hons) Musical Theatre student at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance.
